1975 was the beginning of the development of equipment, especially equipment Seismograph BMG which is the result of cooperation with UNESCO. Installing the SPS-1 Seismograph equipment Kinematrics conducted by Drs. R.P. Soedarmo and Br. Sumarso. As the Observer first stationed in Padang Panjang Geophysics Station is Br.
