On this year, BMKG hold International Workshop on�Climate Change and Weather Information Service in Supporting Adaptation and Mitigation to Climate Change in Transportation and Tourism in Ritz Carlton Hotel during two days from Tuesday, May, 15th to Wednesday, May, 16th , 2012. Workshop is attended by the representatives of the Government Agencies, scientisis from universities and industry player as ellas researchers form aboard active in the area of transportation and tourism. The Indonesia, speakers are government agencies and universities among others are BMKG, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, ITB, IPB, UGM, whereas the foreign speakers are experts in the field of climate change related with transportation and tourism among other are from the Netherlands, Thailand and Australia.

Journal of Meteorology and Geophysics (JMG) managed by the Center for BMKG gaining recognition as a science magazine Head SK accredited by the deposit of Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) on results Journal Accreditation and Accreditation Certificate for JMG Journal.
