1. Logo Description

The logo of the Agency for Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics is a circle with blue, white and green as a base color. In the middle of the white portion there is a gray line. Under the circular logo appear the letters BMKG.


2. Logo Meaning
   
   1. The circular form symbolizes BMKG as a dynamic institution
   2. The 5 lines on the top illustrate Pancasila; the 5 principles that form the philosophical foundation of the Indonesian state
   3. The 9 lines on the bottom illustrates the highest number of expected result
   4. The white clouds symbolize meteorology
   5. The striped blue portion symbolizes climatology
   6. The striped green portion illustrates geophysics
   7. The line across the middle represents the equator
   
   
3. Color Meaning
   1. Blue means greatness / devotion
   2. White means sincerity / holiness
   3. Green means fertility
   4. White clouds symbolize meteorology;
   5. Grey means freedom from administrative boundaries
