Monitoring Particulated Suspended Matter (SPM) in Indonesia is carried out at 46 stations ad show in the table below :
SPM Monitoring is done by using a sampling method, High Volume Sampler (HVS), while for laboratory analysis using analytical balance (Analytical Balance).
Laboratory test results in February 2012, in SAMPALI - MEDAN, GLODOK - JAKARTA, TANGERANG - BANTEN, SEMARANG - JAWA TENGAH shows the SPM is above the threshold (230 ug/m3) as shown in the map and chart below:
