OPENING OF 62ND WORLD METEOROLOGICAL DAY AT BBMKG REGION I

In order to commemorate the 62th world meteorological day (HMD), Center Of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Region I Medan holds various activities, including sports matches between BMKG Tecnical Implementation Unit and Field. On Tuesday, 7th February 2012, the Celebration Of World Meteorological Day year 2012 was opened by the Head of The Center Of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Region I by releasing 62 pieces of colorful balloons into the air followed by all Head of BMKG Technical Implementation Unit. Marking the start of serial events of the World Meteorological Day Celebration. Also attending in the opening of the 62th World Meteorological Day, The Head of Medan Search And Rescue and his staff, and also the Head of Medan Military High Court and his staff. Then proceed with the returning of the trophy from the observation field as last year champions to the KORPRI Sports Coordinating Board, for contested again later on The Celebration Of 62th Meteorological Day year 2012. The event closed with several friendly matches of volleyball between team of BMKG North Sumatra, Team of Medan Search And Rescue, and Team of Medan Military High Court.
